We opened a new office in Kuala Lumpur

The day was filled with a strong sense of community as we welcomed our data suppliers and data users from the trade- and manufacturing sides of business from across Asia Pacific.

Our TecAlliance experts had the chance to provide our visitors a quick overview about our data, services, and solutions before the highlight of the afternoon, a traditional Lion Dance performance, ushering in prosperity, success, and good fortune for our new space. 

But this event is more than just a new office – it represents our growth journey in the Asia Pacific region: 

• Since establishing our first data center in Kuala Lumpur, early 2018, 7 years ago, our team will have grown steadily from 8 experts to 80 by the end of 2025. 

• Our customers grew in diversity. From aftermarket parts manufacturers to part distributors to e-commerce platforms in Malaysia and from there to the rest of Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.

• From researching foundation data, like vehicle tables, Vehicles in Operation (VIO) and OE number research for the most common wear and tear parts, the team’s expertise grew to perform complicated mapping of trade data, mapping to other vehicle IDs, and data formats at the ACES/PIES data standard used in the US.

• New Specialists at work – Our colleagues here are experts in Repair and Maintenance information (RMI) research and data management, integration, digitalisation to ensure workshop customers have the right data and solutions at hand in the future.

• A hub of opportunities – From technical roles to customer success and project management, our office is buzzing with diverse careers. And we’re still hiring!
