Twenty-five years ago, in the halls of Automechanika Frankfurt in 2000, something extraordinary was set into motion. Backed by the vision of twenty aftermarket giants, TecCom GmbH was born—not just as a software company, but as an answer to a challenge the entire industry faced: the need to streamline and digitalise the order-to-cash process across an increasingly fragmented landscape.

2000

Founding of TecCom GmbH “Connecting the Aftermarket”

Official launch at Automechanika Frankfurt. Initiative of 20 leading aftermarket suppliers. Mission: Automate and digitalize order-to-cash processes.

2001

Leadership Appointment

Jürgen Buchert appointed Managing Director, leading TecCom’s growth and success for over two decades.

2003

Market Leadership and French Expansion

European market leader for B2B solutions in IAM. GOLDA signed exclusive partnership for the French aftermarket.

2004

SAP Add-Ons Development with BKIT

Start of collaboration with BKIT to develop SAP add-ons for TecCom solutions.

2007

Global Growth and PACT in UK/Ireland

35% increase in order volume; expansions in Russia, Turkey, China. PACT partnership launched to serve UK & Ireland aftermarket.

2008

Partnership with Nexmart

Cross-industry collaboration with tool & construction sectors.

2009

Deepened Partnership with GOLDA

TecCom acquires a 25% stake in GOLDA, underlining its long-term commitment to the French market.

2010–2013

Formation of TecAlliance

TecCom merges with TecDoc and AuDaCon under the umbrella of TecAlliance. Unified data, transactions, and repair information under one brand.

2017

Invoicing Partnership

Partnership with Aktivbank for e-invoicing integration.

2022

TecCom Excellence Program

Platform certification for message and process quality with a 5-star rating system.

2023

North America Launch & BKIT Acquisition

JNPSoft OptiCat officially launches TecCom in Northern America. BKIT acquired to strengthen SAP expertise and enhance TecCom solutions globally.

2024

Global Expansion and Market Share Insights

Strategic restructuring of TecAlliance into 4 regions (Americas, APAC, China, EMEA). Launch of TecCom real-time market share analysis for competitive benchmarking.
