More than 30 participants attended the recent TAPP event in Rome, representing 22 partner companies from across our network.
The meeting brought together a strong European group, including new members of the network and recently appointed Gold Partners. For the first time, attendees also took an active role, contributing directly through presentations, success stories, and panel discussions.
The positive feedback received on site confirmed that the format met a clear need: giving partners direct access to regional specific information, peer examples and best practices, and concrete ways to expand business across our portfolio and regions.
TAPP Partners were welcomed by the Partner Management team, the Italian Sales teams and the TecCom Partner Sales team, rotating the focus on Italy and the region (EU South), to differ from the previous focus on France and the region (EU Central).
Growing together for cohesive industry progress
A central focus was on the connected aftermarket and how cross-selling potential can be identified across our portfolio. The sessions moved from market context to practical examples, helping participants see where different solutions, services, and customer needs connect.
Perspectives from different areas of the business showed how our expertise, product knowledge, and market access can support more targeted business development.
Partner insights from the ecosystem
Real examples from the network played an important role throughout the event.
Jarosław Borowiec, Managing Director of Nextis, presented how his commitment as a Gold Partner has enabled successful cross-selling. His session gave participants a practical view of how to identify business potential and grow more effectively in the market.
Thanassis Karabassis, Managing Director at Karabassis Co., shared his experience as a Referral Partner on successfully addressing data piracy in the Greek market. His contribution detailed a clear process for partners on how to share responsibility and enforce data value and protection in their respective markets.
Introducing TecRMI Verified Repairs
The event also included a presentation of TecRMI Verified Repairs, a new expertise area available to our TAPP Partners, focused on quality, transparency, and trust in repair processes.
The topic opened discussion on how reliable repair information and clearly defined standards can support a more transparent aftermarket. It also showed how our partner ecosystem can help strengthen confidence across the repair value chain.
Exchange with partner panelists
An expert panel discussion with Jarosław Borowiec, Managing Director of Nextis, Dragan Keselij, Director of Quantum AutoMARKET, and Andrew Rowson, Director of EMOTIV Corp/Ecommotors, hosted by Fabrizio Giannelli, VP Global ITGs & Partner Management of TecAlliance, brought different market and business perspectives into the discussion.
The session focused on practical questions around working with AI, market development and retaining talent, and sustainable growth through partnerships and collaborations. By combining different experiences and regional viewpoints, the panel helped identify where the TAPP Partner Network can continue to evolve.
Building momentum across the TAPP ecosystem
The Rome meeting showed how direct exchange can turn shared goals into more concrete business opportunities. With strong representation, active contributions, and positive feedback from attendees, the event created a solid basis for the next phase of cooperation across the global automotive aftermarket.
