We had a blast at 2023 Taipei International Automobile and Motorcycle Parts & Accessories Show (Taipei AMPA), the second largest automotive exhibition in Asia. As the region reopened this year after the global health crisis, our booth was crowded with visitors from across the world.
Many conversations and uncovered potentials
This year, the show welcomed more overseas exhibitors and visitors than last year. Our team on site welcomed more than 130 customers who operate in different parts of the globe, eager to learn how our offerings and global expertise can drive their business to win a competitive edge.
New data suppliers pulled on board
One of the most heated topics discussed during the show was how to become one of our data suppliers. The best way of making your products easily accessible for the global market and transforming potential customers into buyers by making your portfolio available in the TecDoc® Catalogue. Impressed by the multifold benefits that come with the identity of TecAlliance Data Supplier, e.g. better visibility in the global auto aftermarket community and faster time to market, parts manufacturers and distributors showcased huge interests in presenting their products on our time-tested catalogues. Many workshop customers have gained new insights into our web catalogues after seeing the live demonstration of vehicle and spare part identification with our TecDoc® catalogue.
Take off in North America and provide your data in ACES and PIES format
Another area of high interest was our latest offerings for the North American continent. Thanks to our global footprint, we can provide VIO and OE data in the locally recognised formats ACES and PIES. Our data mapping service, which converts TecDoc® standard data into ACES, is an effective tool for our existing and potential customers who want to tap into the North American and Mexican markets.

“I planned my trip to attend the exhibition long before it started, because I see Taiwan as a market to which we are highly dedicated. The development of Automotive Aftermarket industry in Taiwan is vigorous, and I hope that by participating in AMPA, we get to deliver a strong message that TecAlliance is committed to applying our decades of expertise and future-proof technologies to serve local IAM players. We observed plenty of opportunities during the show.”
