We look back at our participation at INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico City with pride and joy! The leading trade fair for Latin America ‘s automotive industry celebrated its 25th anniversary from July 12-14. Exhibiting is worthwhile! Since the founding of our Mexican subsidiary in 2016, INA PAACE has been the ideal platform to develop new business contacts and demonstrate the latest product developments first-hand to our community.
At the event, we introduced TecDoc ONE, our new global product information management system. The scalable cloud-based tool transforms company’s business operations for increased convenience and productivity. It revolutionises the way parts manufacturers manage their product data by offering a centralised platform for capturing, maintaining, and analyzing product information. The TecAlliance family presented further highlights such as the world-renowned TecDoc Catalogue, the Mexican vehicle inventory data (VIO), the VIO for motorcycles and the VIO Heavy Duty Truck (VIO HD) data set, which includes all heavy truck brands present in Mexico.
In addition to that, we proudly showed TecCom, our global e-business platform, that offers our customers to bundle their entire order-to-invoice process into one system. Using user-independent tools, they can simplify communication with their business partners in supply chain management and build an effective and efficient relationship to them.
Did you know?
Starting from April 2023, the new electronic invoice CFDI 4.0 (Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet, CFDI for short) is mandatory. Companies that don’t follow Mexico’s stringent electronic invoicing requirements or don’t adjust the changing requirements face substantial fines. We collaborated with a locally authorized certification provider (PAC) in Mexico to introduce a tax-compliant e-invoicing process in Mexico with TecCom e-Invoicing, which brings even more benefits.
How will e-commerce impact the independent aftermarket in Latin America? What are the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation and data standardization in the Mexican market? Our Managing Director of TecAlliance de México and Regional Director Central Amercia, Fernando Murguia, gave answers to a lot of questions in a panel discussion at the VIP Breakfast. Industry’s top leaders shared their knowledge and insights on new technologies and trends and developing in the rapidly evolving industry at this important event.
What’s next?
All roads lead to South Africa in September: Automechanika Johannesburg will be the meeting place for all key players of the aftermarket community from September 5-7!
