The shortage of skilled workers has been a major issue in Germany for years. Therefore, we have been qualifying junior staff in various apprenticeships and dual study programmes for years. For our commitment we have three times won awards as one of the “Best Training Centers in Germany” from the German business magazine Capital. On 1 September 2021, twelve trainees and dual students again started their careers with us at our Weikersheim, Germany, site.
This year, school closures and cancelled career fairs due to the Corona pandemic made the search for a suitable training company again more difficult. “The COVID 19 pandemic continues to be a major challenge for all of us. It is and remains strategically important for us to invest in the training of junior staff in order to secure qualified skilled workers. We are pleased that we were once again able to attract motivated trainees and students,” explains Kerstin Langohr, Group Manager Vocational Training.
Well-founded training, multiple opportunities
We offer a variety of different training and study opportunities every year. This year, there are nine new students in the fields of Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Digital Business Management, Applied Computer Science and Online Media. Three of them had previously successfully completed their training at TecAlliance.
In addition, three prospective IT specialists have started their training with the specialisation system integration, application development and, for the first time, the recently introduced specialisation data and process analysis.
At TecAlliance, the hierarchies are flat and the agile structures make it possible to quickly develop new skills and personal responsibility. The rotation at the various company locations in Germany and international practical assignments or study phases abroad offer insight into different fields of work and open up development opportunities in international markets as well.
“We want to win the trainees and students as skilled workers in the long term and therefore invest a lot in optimal training. And this commitment pays off: Every year our graduators shine with above-average grades and we are proud of our very high employment rate,” Kerstin Langohr declares.
