We are happy to announce our new Sales Lead for Asia-Pacific

Liew Chew Yee strengthens the leadership team of our Shanghai-based subsidiary TecAlliance China as Sales Lead for Asia Pacific. With more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, he is responsible for our long-term sales growth objectives and serves customers in Greater China, East Asia and South East Asia.

“Liew is a strategic addition to our leadership team, and his decades of expertise will be pivotal in further digitising the automotive aftermarket in our region”, says Matthias Moritz, our Managing Director Asia. “I am happy that he joins our strong team consisting of 100 employees in China, Hong Kong Malaysia, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. We have a strong focus on data production for the Asia-Pacific region and Liew will push our enhanced customised offers to serve the markets’ needs”, he adds.

My new mission now is to transform aftermarket industry to be highly efficient through data-driven decisions and accurate part search throughout the aftermarket supply chain”, states Liew Chew Yee and adds: “I will be using this foundation to quickly ramp up our service level for customers in China and subsequently roll out to East Asia and South East Asia. Liew Chew Yee has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Malaysia and an MBA from the University of South Australia. During his career he has worked in Japan, Malaysia and China for Nissan Motors, Silverstone Tires, TRW, VDO, DJ Auto, ABB and Delphi Technologies. He has more than 25 years broad and deep automotive industry experience, ranging from vehicle manufacturer product development, aftermarket sales, setting up full aftermarket distribution operation business units and project assignments.

TecAlliance China has been active as an independent company in Shanghai since the beginning of 2013.  The teams are working to expand into the Eastern Asian markets even further, striving for optimum support and development.
