Many businesses and organisations postponed or canceled their in-person conferences and events to help protect attendees, exhibitors and all participants from the coronavirus over the last two years. Our participation in big events such as MIMS Moscow or Automechanika Dubai in 2021 represented an important step forward as we felt the need of meeting our customers and prospects in person. We are relived to know that many trade fair organisers ensure a particularly safe event participation with a professional safety concept and a negative detection obligation regarding Covid-19.

The list starts with Motortec Madrid on April 20-23! Many aftermarket members will take the chance to visit the leading trade fair for the Spanish and Portuguese automobile industry. It is the gateway to the markets in the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa, and Latin America. Our sales team will show our latest product developments especially the TecDoc Catalogue which is based on the world’s leading automotive parts data standard.
Another highlight will be our participation in AUTOPAR in Brasil in May. In recent years, the event proved to be the ideal platform for networking and exchanging information with South American partners and interested parties. Since 2015 the Brasilian team has established the regionalized version of the TecDoc Catalogue as the leading system for the independent automotive aftermarket. The database already contains data from more than 80 Brasilian part manufacturers. The TecDoc Catalogue is currently free to use for new users.
At the end of May, we’ll be happy to stop by at Autopromotec Bologna. The biennial exhibition is gathering all automotive aftermarket product groups under one roof: from tires to car service, from workshop equipment to replacement parts. Autopromotec will be a perfect opportunity fur us to showcase our solution portfolio and to discuss or exchange experiences. Preparations are already in full swing, stay curious about all what follows!
In June we’ll take the chance to join our very first Automechanika Johannesburg! This is the next big milestone after we opened an office in South Africa in 2021. The 7th edition will take place on 18,422 sqm of exhibition space making it the largest event of its kind hosted in South Africa and remains the largest automotive aftermarket show on the continent. The TecDoc Catalogue containing the local car parc and parts data is already available to customers across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, and Lesotho.
Following on from our success at the event in 2021 we will once again exhibit at MIMS Moscow in August. The trade fair will celebrate its 26th anniversary this year. We are approaching our expansion throughout the Russian market as a key objective for our strategic development. Our subsidiary in Russia has been operating as a legal entity since 2017, with all products and solutions localised and supported by our Moscow office. We’d love to see our partners, data suppliers and new customers at the Expocentre again!
All aboard & off to Frankfurt in September! Automechanika Frankfurt will continue to be the most important global industry event this year and we will further develop our trade fair concept to continue to present ourselves adequately as the technological gateway for the automotive aftermarket. You may be certain that everyone of the TecAlliance family will put in extra hours and a lot of attention to detail to make this event happen in September.
How to get visible in the market with your products and brands? How to expand your product portfolio quickly in the wider Middle East region and around the world? We already gave answers to a lot of questions at Automechanika Dubai in December 2021. The overall atmosphere was good, and it was a great opportunity to meet again our customers and new prospects face to face! Visitors where keen to know more on how data and digital solutions can help their businesses. We are proud that our solutions have attracted broad interest: especially the TecDoc Catalogue, Webshop and how to become a TecDoc Data Supplier. The next edition of Automechanika Dubai will take place end of November 2022!
All roads lead to Las Vegas in November! AAPEX Show will be the meeting place for automotive aftermarket experts to get hands-on training, see the latest tools and equipment in action, and connect with partners and peers. We will showcase our best-known & respected solutions for the North American Aftermarket. AAPEX is very important to us. Not only to meet our North American customers but also to exchange with our global customer base as well as our shareholders about the ongoing internationalisation of our company as well as the industry as a whole.
The final get-together of the aftermarket community will take place in Shanghai in December 2022. Our Chinese team will put in great efforts to make Automechanika Shanghai a perfect show for us. Our partners and interested people will get deep insights into our well-known solutions such as our structured, standard web catalog format offered in China and Asia Pacific is based on the TecDoc Standard.
As regulations for in-person events frequently change we already offer several digital events for our entire product portfolio and will continue to expand these in the wake of the Corona pandemic. We’ll keep you in the loop!
