Vehicle population in China is equivalent to about 60 percent of Europe’s but is expected to equal that of Europe as soon as 2025. As this large volume of relatively new vehicles, China is expected to become much more important in the global aftermarket industry.

What is fundamental for data suppliers when competing for customers? The visibility and presentation of products and brands is decisive to strengthen their positions in the global markets. Our TecDoc Standard allows the quick and precise identification of spare parts and vehicles, as well as optimised automated and digitised process solutions along the entire IAM supply chain. We introduced the data standard in 1994 in order to create a uniform data format for the collection, publication and distribution of high-quality spare part product information.

On July 19, around 30 data suppliers and data users gathered at our Chinese Independent Aftermarket Data Meeting in our office in Shanghai including Brake Parts Inc, Bosch, Brembo, Contitech, Continental, Dolz, Febi, Hella, Mahle, Mann+Hummel and many more well-known companies.

The customer workshop was all about common data mapping services to e-platform & key distributors, the improvement of data accuracy (e.g. incomplete parts description and part -vehicle linkage) and Reference Data topics (vehicle data, OES data). Our team leaders introduced the current products and services, and actively answered questions raised by the customers. The second part of the workshop focused on a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and wishes, we enhance our solutions as convenient (and easy to use) as possible.

TecAlliance China’s growing recognition in Asia resulted in a record number of visitors to the Automechanika Shanghai trade fairs. They are proved to be the ideal platform for networking and exchanging information with international customers, partners and interested parties. You can certainly look forward to our presence from December 3-6!
