Our team gave a first-hand look at our solutions & latest developments at Automechanika Riyadh and gained exciting impressions of the automotive aftermarket community! The leading trade fair for the complete automotive aftermarket returned to Riyadh from February 24 – 26 at Al Faisaliah Hotel.

Automechanika Riyadh 2020 was the perfect place to meet global manufacturers and suppliers, explore key trends across the industry and source the latest solutions to meet the evolving needs of the region’s largest market. Exhibitors showcased more than 1000 products to the automotive aftermarket, including products for passenger and commercial vehicles. The launch event of Automechanika Riyadh took place in 2018 and is held biannually and alternates each year between the two cities Riyadh and Jeddah.

We are proud of the progress that we’ve made so far in the Middle East: Our office in Dubai serves customers from the entire Gulf region, e.g. from Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Iran for two years. It is expanding its business activities in all Arabic-speaking countries. But that’s not all: The TecDoc Catalogue 3.0 is now available in 36 languages. This also includes Arabic – an important milestone for the ongoing internationalisation of TecAlliance. Our Business Development Manager François Ollivier demonstrated interested customers the new version of the TecDoc Catalogue.

Based on reasearch by Frost & Sullivan, the automotive aftermarket in the Gulf Cooperation Council nations (including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.7% from 2018 to 2025 and holds a potential value of $8.66 billion, bringing significant new opportunities for participants in the entire value chain. Expected market growth can be attributed to new trends, such as increasing number of infrastructure projects, rising level of female drivers, demand for replacement parts for vehicle modifications, shared mobility trends and upcoming vehicles and manufacturing plants.
