INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico City is the leading trade fair for the Latin American automotive industry. Since the founding of our Mexican subsidiary in 2016, this trade fair has been the ideal platform to develop new business contacts and demonstrate the latest product developments first-hand to our community.

At this year’s edition from June 10 to 12, we showed visitors the advantages of our multinational structure and the concrete opportunities for our customers to expand into neighbouring markets.  In addition to our Mexico team, our subsidiaries JNPSoft, the Canadian expert for product information software, and OptiCat from the USA were on site to demonstrate the unlimited advantages of our product portfolio to the Mexican market.

The highlight of the fair was the Mexican Edition of the TecDoc Catalogue, which combines data for Mexico with data from the US OptiCat catalogue. Our team impressed visitors with the Mexican vehicle inventory data (VIO) and the brand new VIO Heavy Duty Truck (VIO HD) data set, which includes all heavy truck brands present in Mexico. Parts manufacturers were particularly interested in our new Data Migration Service, which supports them in migrating TecDoc standard data to the Auto Care ACES/PIES standard or from ACES/PIES to the TecDoc standard. This enables manufacturers to open up new markets and expand their geographical coverage.

INA PAACE included the “Mexico Technology Summit” of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), which focused on the technological development of the Latin American market. Fernando Murguia, Managing Director Mexico, gave a presentation on “Data Standardisation and E-Commerce in Mexico, U.S. & Europe”, providing important insights into the development of the aftermarket.

Fernando Murguia and his team are absolutely thrilled with this trade fair appearance. “INA PAACE Automechanika was very successful for us. We made many new contacts and further established ourselves in the Mexican automotive aftermarket. A special highlight for us was to demonstrate how we combine our solutions to offer optimal innovative solutions for Mexico and Latin America, and that for the first time with our partners and colleagues from JNPSoft and OptiCat,” says Murguia.
