As a starting signal for the expansion of the Mexican market, TecDoc held a meeting with the most important part manufacturers in Mexico on 20 November 2013. TecAlliance and its US joint venture partner OptiCat invited interested parties to a TecDoc/OptiCat supplier meeting in Mexico City.

33 participants accepted the invitation and were informed about the solutions for the Mexican market proposed by TecDoc and OptiCat. David Winter (Executive Vice President TecAlliance), Bryan Thueson (Vice President Operations OptiCat) and Claude Lotrian (Director Western Europe & Latin America TecAlliance) presented the companies TecAlliance and OptiCat and demonstrated how their solutions can meet the needs of the Mexican market. The focus was on vehicle master data and the part catalogue.

The participants expressed great interest in an industry solution for the Mexican market. The next step is to found a working group of the part manufacturers to check the existing reference data and plan the roll out.
