TecAlliance is now presenting a new, revised version at Automechanika. “In close collaboration with our customers, we develop industry solutions for the automotive aftermarket and optimise these continuously according to customer needs,” explains Jürgen Mehlis, Executive Vice President of Solution & Platform Management at TecAlliance. “We have given the flexible information system TecDoc Catalogue DVD a new layout and a new architecture and thus significantly increased user-friendliness. The focus of further development lay in particular on increasing performance and simplifying installation in order to enable faster and more convenient working for our customers,” continues Mehlis.
With this in mind, the idea also arose of making the TecDoc Catalogue available as an app. This app, for mobile devices on iOS and Android, enables the user to identify spare parts via articles and vehicles at any time worldwide in a mobile way.
Besides these new developments, the company is also presenting its unique portfolio for the Asian markets, which are growing in importance with increasing speed. Thanks to cloud hosting, TecDoc data is available worldwide, so that even markets such as China, India, Mexico and Brazil can perform spare parts identifications quickly and easily at any time – in one of the 29 languages in which the catalogue is offered.
Electronic order processing made easy – Order-To-Invoice Portal (formerly TecWeb 5.0)
The Internet application Order-To-Invoice Portal is a proven solution for electronic order processing. It is intuitive to use and can be operated on all devices, from smartphones and tablets to PCs and laptops. The user interface can be customised so that the user only sees the data that he actually needs. Repeating processes can be saved as favourites – this not only saves time but also money. Through the complete integration of TecDoc Catalogue data, it is possible to use this application to access the entire scope of the TecDoc Catalogue.
The application is available globally thanks to hosting in the cloud. All data is saved on European servers, which ensures an above-average level of data security based on strict statutory regulations.
Product Management Analytics (PMA) – catalogue data management in a new dimension
A further highlight is the Product Management Analytics Portal (PMA), which was specially developed for the needs of a modern data and product management department. With this web-based analysis tool, one’s own product data in the TecDoc Data Format can be reliably compared with that of the competition and valuable conclusions drawn regarding data maintenance and product range optimisation. Reports of various kinds, such as management reports on vehicle fleet coverage and on any gaps in comparison with the competition and data maintenance progress, can be generated quickly and easily. With the innovative TecRMI Service Finder, TecRMI has brought onto the market a completely new tool that is currently unique within the international automotive aftermarket.
