AASA , the US-american association for automotive aftermarket suppliers, invited Fernando Murguia, Managing Director of TecAlliance Mexico to hold a speaker’s note on the AASA Technology Summit, which took place in the Citibanamex-Hotel in Mexico during the INA PAACE , international trade show for the IAM in Latin America.
“In this event I presented the main differences between the technology in Europe, the US and Mexico”, explains Fernando Murguia, Managing Director Mexico / Regional Sales Director Central America at TecAlliance. “It is important to point out the different focus areas for each market.” i.E. The number of registered vehicles is much higher in the US and in Europe than in Mexico.
New technologies are breaking into the traditional Mexican market structure as online platforms, industry–to–end–consumer business etc. New players submerge the market as eBay, amazon and other big players as AutoZone. The traditional Mexican market players will have to cope with it and share their position with these new upcomers.
INA PAACE is Latin America’s international trade show for the automotive aftermarket, OE manufacturing and service industry.
