Ismaning, 13 September 2016 – TecAlliance GmbH, known worldwide as the industry standard for the provision of vehicle and article data as well as repair and maintenance information and the handling of electronic business processes in the international spare parts market, is exhibiting at this year’s Automechanika (13 – 17 September 2016, Hall 5_6.1, Stand A01/A10) with a new brand appearance and clear responses to the rapid development within the international automotive aftermarket.
TecAlliance with a new logo. The activities within the industry are complex, multi-layered and closely linked to each other. In order to make this complexity within the services on offer transparent and clear for customers, TecAlliance has developed a new brand appearance and restructured its existing product range. The brands TecCom, TecDoc, TecRMI and Headline, with their strong range of expertise and service, fall completely under the umbrella brand of TecAlliance. This complexity is picked up in the new company logo, symbolised by a cube next to the name TecAlliance.
“Our mission is: Enabling the Digital Aftermarket, i.e. we are supporting the rapidly accelerating digital transformation with a restructured product range. Under the shared umbrella of the TecAlliance brand, with standardised data, processes, integrated solutions and comprehensive consulting services, we create an infrastructure for the market participants in the digital aftermarket that makes them more successful in the long term,” explains TecAlliance Managing Director Jürgen Buchert. “Our quality seal ‘TecDoc Inside’ represents the high TecDoc data standard, to which our customers are accustomed in both the creation and also the use of high-quality vehicle and product information,” continues Buchert.
The automotive aftermarket is changing with increasing speed. The reason for this is, in particular, digitalisation and the changes this brings for known processes and patterns of behaviour. What’s more, the complexity of vehicles and systems is continually increasing. Independent vehicle workshops, parts manufacturers and suppliers are confronted with far-reaching change processes, which need to be tackled.
When it comes to the repair and maintenance of vehicles, workshops need to possess in-depth expertise of diagnostics, electronics and mechatronics in addition to technical skills. This requires extensive and up-to-date vehicle and spare parts data for all manufacturers. TecAlliance creates transparency in the international data jungle with its world-leading industry solution and assists its customers in optimising processes with integrated solutions, quickly and easily finding the right spare parts and procuring them or making them available in a manner in keeping with the market.
“Our core competence is optimally supporting digital collaboration between all market participants within the global automotive aftermarket on the basis of established standards,” explains Jürgen Buchert. “We digitalise and link all manufacturer-independent vehicle and spare parts data for the international automobile supplier industry. For the parts trade and the workshop, we compile the technical information required for repair and maintenance across all manufacturers in one standard. We know the business processes in the entire value creation chain within the international spare parts market and have extensive expertise in their automation and optimisation. Particularly in this time of change, we are a strong partner to our customers and support them with a digital ‘one-stop-shop solution’ for the international spare parts market. We will also continue to play a crucial role in the development of the global digital automotive aftermarket in the future”.
TecAlliance has been compiling vehicle data, spare parts data and repair and maintenance information worldwide for over 20 years. Parts data is collected for all manufacturers, prepared according to the TecAlliance standard and provided to parts distributors for ordering purposes and to workshops in order to perform competent repair and maintenance to vehicles. Thanks to the high-tech solutions, this varied data can be filtered and given out to suit the needs of diverse participants in the market. As one of the world’s leading suppliers, TecAlliance sets market standards in spare parts information and vehicle descriptions.
This digital data and information base enables workshops, trade and the parts industry to work together in a highly efficient manner. Fleet and leasing companies as well as insurance providers benefit from the OE specifications when dealing with maintenance and wear and tear work.
