Ismaning / Chennai, 04 February 2020.  As part of its strategy for expanding its presence in the Indian market, TecAlliance will participate in Auto Expo components, Pragati Maidan, News Delhi (India), at Booth N° 5.58A. Auto Expo Components will feature more than 1,500 exhibitors from more than 20 countries. Over the last years the Auto Expo has showed a rapid growth in size and transformed itself into a global event. Owing to the tremendous growth of Auto Expo — Asia’s largest automotive show jointly organised by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is now spread across two different venues with clear focus on Automobiles (Auto Expo 2020— Vehicles) and Auto Components (Auto Expo 2020 -Components).

With its subsidiary in Chennai that opened one year ago, TecAlliance has closed one of the last white spots in its Asian footprint. Customer proximity is an essential asset for TecAlliance. With its local presence TecAlliance can support manufacturers, dealers and workshops in the independent aftermarket even better to take full advantage of the current growth opportunities.

Regionalized TecDoc Catalogue to improve the identification and traceability of suitable spare parts

Vats R. Srivatchan, Director of TecAlliance India, and his team are glad to present the regionalized version of the TecDoc Catalogue, which for the first time contains the data of Indian parts suppliers. This gives dealer and workshops in India a much better overview of the market as to which spare parts are suitable for which vehicles. With the regionalized version of the TecDoc Catalogue, the Indian Aftermarket has a globally recognized industry standard for the first time. The aim is to improve the identification and traceability of suitable spare parts and to increase processes and efficiency in the workshop. “TecAlliance’s TecDoc Catalogue for the Indian market also makes an active contribution to the Independent Automotive Service Sector where employment potential is high. “ says Vats R. Srivatchan. “In addition, the market transparency will be improved and allows unnecessarily high inventories to be reduced, resource management to be optimized and losses for manufacturers and retailers to be minimized.”

TecAlliance works closely with ACMA to implement the Indian spare parts catalog solution in the best possible quality. More than 700 manufacturers are organized in the industry association, which covers more than 85 percent of the turnover of the Indian automotive supply industry. The Indian TecDoc Catalogue is provided completely in the common technical language of the repair industry, English.
