On 7 November 2017, a meeting took place in the Shanghai office of TecAlliance China. In the meeting, Christian Bergmann, COO of jfnetwork GmbH, and Jochen Freier, CEO of tyremotive GmbH, had an open exchange with TecAlliance Managing Director Asia Matthias Moritz and Yuliang Cao, Sales & Business Development Manager Greater China, about the ins and outs of the tyre business as well as the expansion possibilities and challenges in the Southeast Asian market.

jfnetwork is one of the leading IT service companies in the car and tyre industry, providing consulting and technical services. Tyremotive is a full-range supplier of tyres and wheels and also a rim manufacturer, while also providing IT services for supply chain management that are tailored to customer requirements.

For Matthias Moritz, the meeting was a great success: “Like us, both companies want to further expand in the Asian markets. Since we are confronted with similar topics and challenges, it was very helpful and inspiring to have a broad discussion where we could explore common opportunities,” says Moritz.

The Automechanika Shanghai, in which TecAlliance will participate from 29 November to 2 December 2017, will offer additional opportunities for exchange with market players and customers. Automechanika Shanghai is the world’s second largest international trade fair for auto parts, accessories and services. In recent years, the trade fair has proven to be an ideal platform to present innovative solutions and products for China and the entire Southeast Asian market. This helps to exploit the great potential for growth in the region.
