Cologne, Germany. September 2018 – Which parts are our customers searching for? Which parts do they need – when and in which regions? For which vehicles are parts being searched for? Parts manufacturers and wholesalers can now obtain answers to these questions with a new solution developed by TecAlliance and now being presented at Automechanika: Analytics Manager is a business intelligence solution that enables the targeted optimisation of individual part portfolios. “The stakeholders in the market can improve their knowledge of their customers and their markets with the help of the Analytics Manager,” said Dr. Bartosch Belkius, Senior Solution Manager Analytics at TecAlliance GmbH. “This way, parts manufacturers and wholesalers can tap into unrealised business potential, take advantage of new opportunities and systematically enhance their market presence or optimise their purchasing decisions”, explains Tanja Zipperer, Solution Manager at TecAlliance.
The Demand Dashboard in the Analytics Manager offers standardised reports that evaluate current user behaviour in TecAlliance solutions. The prepared enquiries are easy to create and can be individually configured, according to product, time, country and region, for example, and parts manufacturers can see the demand for their most important products in different markets. Using time-based analysis, seasonal or regional bestsellers can be identified; this supports product planning. Spare parts dealers can use the Demand Dashboard in Analytics Manager to determine whether the current sales portfolio corresponds to actual customer requirements and whether important products are missing from the portfolio.
The Product Management Analytics (PMA) module in Analytics Manager helps parts manufacturers to more quickly identify USPs and the strengths of their own product portfolios. The PMA module delivers intelligent suggestions to expand the portfolio and first-to-market options as a valuable basis for product development, management and optimisation. The solution helps traders to optimise the supplier structure, as it allows for a comparison and evaluation of suppliers and their product offerings.
Analytics Manager is an online service that can be used worldwide, does not require any installation or hosting outlay, and supports simultaneous users. TecAlliance is now presenting the prototype of the Demand Dashboard, while the PMA is already available as an independent application.
