We made a convincing impression at our very first MIMS Automechanika Moscow on August 26-29. Visitors as well as journalists were flocking our booth from day one and kept our team busy. We are overwhelmed from all the interest showing us that there is the necessity for high quality data in the Russian market and that the right momentum is just now.

Robert Szwed, our Managing Director Russia & CIS, looks back at a more than positive trade show: “Automechanika Moscow really exceeded our expectations by far. The overwhelming interest in our solutions within the Russian Automotive Aftermarket community really shows that we are exactly on the right track. Data-driven business in Russia is catching up fast and it became pretty clear that providers need to fuel their services with the highest quality data possible, provided by us.

“We’ve demonstrated several notable solutions such as the new version of the TecDoc Catalogue, Europe’s leading electronic replacement parts identification resource,” explains Szwed. “Other highlights have been the Order Manager, our order-to-invoice eCommerce platform as well as Repair & Maintenance Information (RMI), our comprehensive technical service data system.”

TecDoc Catalogue 3.0 was launched on the Russian market to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the TecDoc Standard. The new version of the spare part catalogue is even more user-friendly and intuitive than before to enable faster and more precise searches. “With Repair & Maintenance Information (RMI), we offer up-to-date and comprehensive repair and maintenance information at all times, enabling repairs to be carried out according to manufacturer specifications,” adds Robert Swed. “And our Order-to-Invoice solution, the Order Manager, supports wholesalers and workshops in their daily work. In the central web portal, all process steps relating to the ordering of spare parts are bundled and can be handled digitally and automatically – simplifying processes and thus saving time and costs. Each partner requires just one connection to the B2B platform, meaning that they can communicate with all their business partners – irrespective of the format requirements and the technical connection.”

We really had a great week at MIMS Automechanika Moscow. Besides all the things we already mentioned most important to us was that we were having a lot of fun as team. Everyone put in extra hours and a lot of attention to detail to make this happen and it was just great seeing the hard work really paying off. We spent a great time together on & off the pitch!
