TecAlliance will be publishing new Vehicles in Operation (VIO) data during the month of August 2017. The update includes all vehicles registered up until 31 December 2016.  Our primary means of making the data available is still the web application Vehicle Data Portal (VDP, previously AutoStats4All) which will then offer a number of new functionalities.

Starting in August it will be possible to export VIO reports to a variety of new formats such as txt, csv, pdf and json. Furthermore, minor changes have been implemented concerning the layout of the website with some sidebars now relocated to a new position. In addition, a new download queue has been created which means it is now possible to go through the entire portal and never lose sight of the download progress. Another very interesting new feature is the new interactive tour which guides the user through the portal while creating a report.

Meanwhile, all the teams are continuously hard at work improving the K-type coverages wherever possible because this is what the market demands from us.  Especially for Asia there were some strong gains, but also Ukraine and the Russian Federation have seen a visible improvement in this area.

Finally, the fully specified TecAlliance VIO data includes more than 60 technical specifications. The vehicle database contains more than one billion registered vehicles in 6 geographical regions. An exact list of the countries covered (PDF format) is available for download at the following link: https://s3-eu-central-1.amazonaws.com/multimedia.tecalliance.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/31105727/Available-Vehicle-in-Operation-Countries.pdf
