Under the motto “The best from different worlds” TecAlliance is presenting the prototype of a modular, individually configurable iOS and Android app for manufacturers, traders and workshops for the first time at Automechanika. TecAlliance MOBILE includes a lot of standardised data and proven products from the TecAlliance brands TecDoc, TecCom and TecRMI. It is available in several variants.
The apps for industry and trade partners can be modified to match the corporate design. The functions include simple order entry on the mobile device in direct dialogue with the customer, generation of comprehensive cost estimates and customer and workshop orders (printable PDF). Bar code scan can be used for fast identification of customers, vehicles, or orders and also to check that parts are authentic. A digital signature can be used in a complete environmentally friendly process without media breaks.
Particularly innovative is the function for mobile direct acceptance. This means that workshop staff can directly accept orders for service and repairs to a vehicle while the customer is present. The employee has access to vehicle-related service and repair jobs, suitable articles, availability and prices as well as technical data and manuals. On the mobile device he can generate a cost estimate, an order and a workshop order. The efficiency and quality of the order acceptance is improved because annoying paperwork is eliminated. Greater transparency and traceability strengthen customer loyalty.
