On 25 September 2013 the meeting of the TecCom User Group Trade/Industry took place for the 28th time. Thirty participants came to Kelsterbach near Frankfurt, Germany, to exchange ideas with colleagues from the auto part industry and trade. The TecCom User Group is a communication platform “from the business for the business” to take up the requirements, wishes and problems of TecCom users.
Wholesalers were strongly represented again this time, bringing a third of the attendees. The agenda of the User Group meeting this time included status reports on the TecCom solutions TecOrder, TecInvoice, TecCMD and TecCMI. For the TecInvoice solution the participants were shown an overview of the functions and a presentation of the roll-out status. A new potential trade solution with the working title “TecScan” was presented for discussion by the group. TecScan could scan remaining paper documents to eliminate the distinction between paper and electronic receipts in the invoice processing.
Thomas Lapp, as Solution Manager responsible for the solution TecReturns, presented the current development status as well as opportunities to use the solution. Marco Bolzt (Group Manager Solution Management) presented the results of the expert group “Performance” that was founded at the request of User Group members. He also discussed the status of the “Madagascar” project. Bryan Marschall was introduced as the future Solution Manager for the solution TecOrder.
In addition to coverage of the TecCom solutions information was presented for the first time about other TecAlliance topics. Alexander Bresslau (Director Sales DACH), who has organised and led the meeting for many years, talked about the latest developments and milestones regarding TecDocPRO. Ralf Pelkmann (Vice President Information Management TecRMI) gave an overview of the TecRMI solution portfolio.
The 28th meeting of the User Group was well able to fulfil its function as the platform for a lively exchange of opinions and was rated by the participants as very successful. The next meetings of the User Group will be held on 20.03.14 and 23.10.14 in Frankfurt/Kelsterbach. If you have any questions or topics to propose for future User Group meetings please be sure to contact Alexander Bresslau (firstname.lastname@example.org).
