Headline – Experian automotive Partnership
Headline is proud to announce an alliance with Experian Automotive, one of the leading providers of automotive market intelligence and services that afford results-driven professionals to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the market, the vehicles that populate said market and the people who purchase them. With a North-American database that contains a substantial number of vehicles, coupled with Headline’s own fully specified make and model database, the result is a unified, more globalized standard that seeks to combine the best of both worlds. Our goal has always been to provide our customers the most complete vehicle database imaginable and thanks to this new alliance, we are a bit closer to realizing that target. This consolidated database includes information on more than a billion light, medium and heavy duty vehicles across six regions and 70 countries worldwide. Additionally, the database contains a global vehicle make/model table with over 60 vehicle attributes that are coded to the Auto Care Association ACES standard and to the European TecDoc vehicle standards. Teaming with Experian Automotive is another major step forward for us and, with 2014 coming to an end, we eagerly look forward to the road ahead.

Heavy Duty Emerging Markets Q1-Q2 2015

New Segment Agriculture Vehicles
During the second quarter of 2015, Headline will enter the initial stages of what will eventually become a whole new vehicle segment in our make and model database. Basic Agricultural equipment and farming machines have been at the dawn of modern civilization long before the introduction of motorized transportation vehicles so it made sense to give this segment its long overdue place among the others. At the moment, we have begun prepping our software and systems while an early mutation of some of the best known brands in the business such as John Deere and Fendt has proven to be an encouraging success. As we are committed to deliver only fully specified parc data, the project will no doubt prove to be a massive, but interesting undertaking. When we are ready to roll out with parc data, we hope you’ll agree the agricultural segment will mark an exciting new milestone in our pursuit to offer the most varied, most specified parc data available.
