Connecting the Nordics at Automässan

From 14–17 January 2026, Automässan in Gothenburg once again proved to be the central meeting point for the Nordic automotive service and aftermarket industry. We welcomed visitors from across the region to connect with our new local team and explore the latest innovations shaping a more data-driven aftermarket.

Welcoming Our Nordics & Baltics Team

One of the highlights of this year’s event was the introduction of our dedicated Nordics & Baltics team, bringing local expertise even closer to our customers and partners:

  • Brian Urup, Sales Manager TecCom Nordics & Baltics, and
  • Marc Sterken, Commercial Business Owner TecDoc & TecRMI Nordics & Baltics.

Throughout the four days, our local team engaged in valuable conversations with manufacturers, wholesalers and workshops, discussing regional challenges and opportunities and how our data and solutions can support sustainable growth across the Nordic aftermarket.

Driving Success with Global Data Standards

Live demonstrations showcased the continued evolution of the TecDoc ecosystem, underlining the importance of globally standardised data combined with real-time exchange. Central to the discussions was TecDoc ONE, our powerful PIM solution enhanced with Vehicles in Operation (VIO) data. Visitors saw firsthand how this combination helps improve catalogue accuracy, streamline daily operations and support better business decisions in increasingly complex vehicle landscapes.

Strengthening Workshop Support with TecRMI

TecRMI attracted strong interest from workshops and service networks seeking efficiency, compliance and quality. Alongside its OE-compliant repair and maintenance data, visitors explored tools designed to optimise workshop processes.

A standout solution was the TecRMI Service Book, enabling workshops to digitally document maintenance work and transfer it directly into vehicle manufacturers’ systems through a standardised process. This helps preserve warranty and goodwill rights while maintaining vehicle resale value.

Another key topic was the TecRMI Verified Repairs database. Built on real-world, expert-validated repair and diagnostic cases, it addresses challenges beyond the OE scope. The result is higher first-time fix rates, improved diagnostic efficiency and increased customer satisfaction – benefits that resonated strongly with workshop professionals attending Automässan.

Enhancing Order and Returns Processes with TecCom

As the No. 1 trading platform for the independent automotive aftermarket, TecCom was another focus at the booth. Live presentations demonstrated digital solutions covering the full order lifecycle, with particular attention on returns management. Visitors learned how digitalised processes can reduce errors, increase transparency and significantly cut administrative effort for all trading partners.

Unlocking Growth with the TecAlliance Partner Program (TAPP)

Interest was also high in our TecAlliance Partner Program (TAPP). Visitors used the opportunity to learn how our partners support garages, wholesalers and parts manufacturers in implementing, selling and consulting on our products. The program continues to open new market opportunities while strengthening collaboration across the international aftermarket.
