Celebrating International Women’s Day 2022

Marked annually on March 8th, International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements or rally for women’s equality.

Why we have taken part

Looking back on our evolution history, we are a male heavy company with more than nine hundred colleagues. Our multinational and multicultural TecAlliance team is globally still growing. With more than 25 years of experience providing standardized data and solutions we drive digitisation of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket. Think global, act local – that is our everyday business, and we mean it. Our twenty-two local subsidiaries and our vast partner network have made us a dependable partner for our customer’s business.

We trust in our teams: our agile organisational structure with flat hierarchies inspires cooperation in our multicultural teams. We promote diversity in our teams and equal treatment of all people. Concisely: we welcome everyone.

Our motivated and committed employees power our success as the driving force behind the digitisation of the entire independent automotive aftermarket.

Thereby each of our colleagues contributes to this success in collaborating in a collegial and appreciate manner. And each of us must be aware that we individually are all responsible for our thoughts and actions – all day, every day. Our collaboration ist determined by our reflections and behaviour – worldwide in our entire TecAlliance team.

We have experienced that breaking our often-unconscious bias leads to optimise our trusting and appreciative cooperation. And an improved and even more efficient cooperation in turn benefits our customers.

#BreakTheBias is the theme of this year’s IWD.

IWD is one of the most important days of the year to:

  • celebrate women’s achievements
  • raise awareness about women’s equality
  • lobby for accelerated gender parity
  • fundraise for female-focused charities

We are confident, that raising awareness against bias will encourage closer team cooperation.

We are convinced that (unconscious) bias in our collaboration can and will be broken in our multicultural teams and communities.

We are certain that the prejudice against our collaboration must and will be broken in all our teams and communities. Our culture is without prejudice.

That’s why we crossed our arms to participate in this year’s IWD theme: #BreakTheBias

We want to reach out for a world free of prejudice, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equal, and inclusive. A world where differences are valued and celebrated.

Proud of our team – thinking global and acting local – we thank all colleagues who participated in our contributions to this year’s IWD campaign!
