Brand-new comprehensive vehicle data for Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica & El Salvador

Data is a valuable raw material that our experts use with the right tools to improve our customers’ businesses. Our goal is to ensure that our vehicle data is as accurate a depiction of the reality as possible.

The data needed to succeed: We are proud to announce that our database now provides the most accurate vehicle market data available for Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica and El Salvador. It is commonly known as “CarParc” and gives an overview of passenger and light commercial vehicles that are in circulation in the territories of these regions. The figures are based on the original raw data that we purchase from official sources. Using a combination of AI tooling and manual work, the raw data is then translated to the TecAlliance standard.

Rodrigo Figueroa Velázquez, Data Research Coordinator at TecAlliance, explains how the aftermarket value chain benefits from this data.

What benefits do I have by acquiring CarParc databases from Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica and El Salvador?

Rodrigo Figueroa Velázquez: These databases are intended for the automotive parts manufacturing companies participating in the independent market to create their electronic catalogs having a more precise knowledge of the vehicles that are in circulation in these countries.

They can extract advantages from using our comprehensive CarParc data for their specific analysis and product portfolio optimization: They are able to plan their upcoming production or optimize their stock levels and having statistics about the evolution of car parcs and car sales.

In this way, the entire distribution chain, e-commerce, auto parts retail companies, workshops and auto parts stores will benefit from accurate information and more complete electronic catalogs. In addition to these benefits, people interested in knowing the replacement parts for their car will be able to view the products, applications, photographs and technical descriptions through the TecDoc catalog for free.

What information does the CarParc contain?

Rodrigo Figueroa Velázquez: Our customers will have access to more than 60 technical attributes of vehicles in circulation in Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica and El Salvador from 1950 to 2021, such as make, model, model year, engine type, body type, period of manufacture and other characteristics for consultation and generation of electronic catalogs.
